The Ensembles

The Franklin Central Choral Department is home to nearly 500 singers in ten ensembles ranging from beginning to advanced.  These students have brought home innumerable Grand Championships from contests across the Midwest and several State and National Competition titles.

FC Singers

FC Singers is Franklin Central's premier mixed show choir consisting of 62 singers.  In 2021, FC Singers celebrated their first undefeated season and was honored to be named Grand Champion at the Center Grove "Best of the Midwest" with Best Vocals and Best Choreography, Grand Champion at the Warren Central "Circle City Showcase" with Best Vocals and Best Choreography, Grand Champion at the Lafayette Jefferson "Xtreme Show Choir Showdown" with Best Vocals and Best Choreography, Grand Champion at the Brownsburg "Bulldog Spectacular" with Best Vocals and Grand Champion at the Carroll "Classic" with Best Vocals and Best Choreography.  FC Singers was honored to be named ISSMA Show Choir State Champion in 2014 and 2017. Combining with Chamber Choir, FC Singers is a consistent ISSMA concert choir State Finalist including State Championships in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 & 2019.  They are accompanied by Franklin Central's premiere show choir band, the Electric Mayhem.

High Voltage

High Voltage is Franklin Central's premier women's show choir consisting of 63 singers.  In 2021, High Voltage was honored to named  Grand Champion at the Pendleton Heights "Arabian Spectacular" with Best Vocals and Best Choreography, 1st Runner-Up at the Center Grove "Best of the Midwest" with Best Vocals, Grand Champion at the Warren Central "Circle City Showcase" with Best Vocals and Best Choreography, Grand Champion at the Lafayette Jefferson "Xtreme Show Choir Showdown" with Best Vocals and Best Choreography, Grand Champion at the Brownsburg "Bulldog Spectacular" with Best Vocals and Grand Champion at the Carroll "Classic" with Best Vocals.  High Voltage was honored to be named ISSMA Show Choir State Champion in 2009. Combining with Accents, High Voltage is a consistent ISSMA Treble/Men's concert choir State Finalist including State Champion in 2010.  They are accompanied by Franklin Central's premiere show choir band, the Electric Mayhem.

Encores

Encores is Franklin Central's intermediate mixed show choir consisting of 48 singers.  In 2021, Encores was honored to be named 1st Runner-Up at the Brownsburg "Bulldog Spectacular" and received a Gold Rating for both performance and sight reading at the ISSMA Organizational Contest.  They are accompanied by Franklin Central's preparatory show choir band, the Static Havoc.

Chamber Choir

Chamber Choir is Franklin Central's premier mixed concert choir consisting of 29 singers. Performing the most demanding literature, last year Chamber Choir was honored to be named Grand Champion at the Lafayette Jefferson "Xtreme Show Choir Showdown".  Combining with FC Singers, Chamber Choir is a consistent state finalists and were named the ISSMA Concert Choir State Champion in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2019.  Chamber Choir has performed in some of the world's finest venues including St. Peter's Basilica in Rome and Neuschwanstein Castle in southern Germany.

Accents

Accents is Franklin Central's premier women's concert choir consisting of 41 singers.  Performing the most demanding treble literature, last year Accents was honored to be name 1st Runner-Up at the Lafayette Jefferson "Xtreme Show Choir Showdown".  Combining with High Voltage, Accents is a consistent ISSMA Treble/Men's concert choir State Finalist several times including State Champion in 2010.  Accents has performed in some of the world's finest venues including St. Peter's Basilica in Rome and Neuschwanstein Castle in southern Germany.

Ambassadors

Ambassadors is an intermediate level concert choir consisting of 27 men from grades 9-12.  Created in 2018, Ambassadors completed their inaugural season and was honored to be named a State Finalist at the 2019 ISSMA Treble/Men's Concert Choir State Finals.

Varsity

Varsity is an intermediate level concert choir consisting of 36 women.  In 2021, Varsity was honored to receive a Gold Rating for both performance and sight reading at the ISSMA Organizational Contest.

Flight

Picture
Flight is a beginning level show choir consisting of 38 women. Created in 2018, Flight annually competes both as a show choir and concert choir.  They were honored to be named 1st Runner-Up at the Avon "Vocal Invitational" with Best Vocals and received a Gold Rating for both performance and sight reading at the ISSMA Organizational Contest.  They are accompanied by Franklin Central's preparatory show choir band, the Static Havoc.

Vocal Majority

Vocal Majority is a beginning level concert choir consisting of 21 men.  In 2021, Vocal Majority was honored to receive a Gold Rating for both performance and sight reading at the ISSMA Organizational Contest.

Harmonia

Harmonia is a beginning level concert choir consisting of 35 women.  In 2021, Harmonia was honored to receive a Gold Rating for both performance and sight reading at the ISSMA Organizational Contest.

The Electric Mayhem

Consistently named Best Band at several competitions each year, the Electric Mayhem is Franklin Central's premiere show choir band consisting of 15 instrumentalists and accompany FC Singers and High Voltage.  Last year, the Electric Mayhem was honored to be named Best Band at the Lafayette Jefferson "Xtreme Show Choir Showdown" in both the Mixed and Women's Divisions and Best Band at the Carroll "Classic" in both the Mixed and Women's Divisions.

The Static Havoc

The Static Havoc is Franklin Central's preparatory show choir band consisting of 15 instrumentalists and accompany Encores and Flight.  Created in 2021, the Static Havoc will be heard this year at the Ben Davis "Giant Spectacular" and the Brownsburg "Bulldog Spectacular".
