Hoosier Show Choir Classic Information
Volunteer Sign-Up
It takes an army to run the amazing contest we host! Families from High Voltage and FC Singers are required to provide adult workers for two, 4 hour shifts. Families from Encores are required to provide an adult worker for one, 4 hour shift at either HSCC or the ISSMA Concert Choir State Qualifier. This can be any adult-grandma, adult cousins, neighbors, crazy show-choir-loving aunts. Sign-up for your preferred time and job with the button below.
Trophy Sponsorships
What is it?
- Trophies are given to top groups at our contest each year. The trophies given out at our contest cost a great deal of money. The more trophies that are sponsored by individuals and companies, the more money our contest saves.
- Students get to request your job for the contest! The business or family that sponsors a trophy will have a plaque attached to the trophy saying who sponsored it and will have their name read during the awards ceremony: “The concert choir Grand Champion trophy sponsored by Hibity Gibity Incorporated goes to. . .”
- Seniors: Bring in a check for a specific trophy and you can request a job for the contest in the order in which it was received.
- Non-seniors: After all seniors with trophy sponsorships have chosen their job, all other seniors may request their job. Once those have been honored, non-seniors with trophy sponsorships may choose their jobs (freshmen must still have an experienced show choir member host with them). This will be done in the order that the trophy sponsorship was received. All non-seniors without trophy sponsorships will be assigned a job by their directors.
- Each trophy can only be attributed to one person. Any group of students coming together to sponsor a trophy is great but each member of the group doesn’t get the benefit of requesting a job.
Syllabus
The syllabus should be read and understood by both student and parent before being signed and returned. No exceptions will be made to the syllabus for students. Please mark all performance and rehearsal dates in your calendar for the entire school year.
Student Accounts
Statements are emailed out monthly prior to the Parent Meeting which are typically the first Monday of each month. If you have any questions regarding your student's account, please email Jennifer Andry at askfcsingers@gmail.com.
